Stay safe: scams, reporting and blocking
Never pay to get a job, check businesses before advance payments, and report anything wrong.
Warning signs
- Anyone asking a job seeker for a fee, deposit or training charge before a job.
- Prices far below the market, or pressure to pay in advance right now.
- Requests for OTPs, bank details or UPI PINs. WebWeb never asks for these.
Report or block
In the app, tap the three dots on a post or a profile and choose Report or Block. Blocked people can't see your posts or message you, and you can unblock them under Blocked people in the profile menu.
